Custom Website Design Process
Step 1: Place Your Order Using The Custom WordPress Website Form
Once I receive your order, I will reply back via email and provide you with an accurate design quote and summary. If I need additional information my reply email will contain follow-up questions.
Step 2: PayPal Invoice Is Sent
I will invoice you via PayPal. You will have the option to pay for your design in full or make a non-refundable 50% deposit. If you make a deposit, your remaining balance will be due before your custom blog design is installed on your site. All payments will be made securely via PayPal, including payments using major credit cards.
Step 3: Payment Confirmation and Estimated Start Date
After I receive your order, I will email you an order confirmation within 1-2 business days. The order confirmation will include the estimated start date for your custom blog design. Please make sure to check for the order confirmation in your inbox/spam/promotional folders. The email will be sent from firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 4: Time To Get Started Designing
I will use all of the information you have sent me thus far to create a visual mock-up of how your blog will look. A mock-up is a visual preview of your blog design that will show your custom header banner, font styles, the general style and layout of your blog. It will be emailed to you in .jpg or .png format. At this time you will be able to provide feedback and request the first round of revisions. You are able to request up to 3 rounds of revisions. If additional rounds are requested, you will be billed at $60/hour.
Step 5: Your Design Is Uploaded To A Testing Site
Once the mock-up is approved, your design is then coded and uploaded to one of my testing sites for you to review. After you review your site, you are able to provide feedback and request revisions. You can request up to 3 rounds of revisions. If additional rounds are requested, you will be billed at $60/hour.
Step 6: Final Invoice Is Sent & Your Blog’s Log In Information Is Requested
If you have a balance remaining, I will send you an invoice via PayPal so you can submit your final payment. I will email you a request for your blog’s login information as well as for your hosting server FTP login information.
Step 7: Your New WordPress Blog Design Is Then Uploaded To Your Site
Once you have approved your new blog design on the testing site, your new WordPress blog design will then be uploaded and installed to your site. Please note that once your new design has been installed requests for revisions or adjustments may require additional fees.
